Micro-needling

Micro-needling is a facial therapy employing a specialized device featuring ultra-fine needles, designed to stimulate fresh skin growth while diminishing the presence of old scar tissue.

  • Micro-needling triggers the body’s natural collagen and elastin production, promoting skin elasticity and firmness.

  • The procedure helps to refine skin texture, making it smoother and more even in tone. It can reduce the appearance of scars, including acne scars, by breaking down scar tissue and stimulating skin regeneration.

  • Fine lines and wrinkles are lessened as the skin rebuilds with increased collagen, resulting in a more youthful appearance.

  • It helps to reduce hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone, leading to a more uniform complexion.

  • Micro-needling aids in clearing acne and preventing future breakouts by unclogging pores and releasing congestion.

PRP can enhance collagen and elastin production in deeper skin levels. Micro-needling with PRP effectively treats acne scars, surgical scars, wrinkles, and fine lines, hyperpigmentation, sun damage, large pores, uneven skin texture irregularities, and it helps to decrease the appearance of stretch marks. The addition of PRP to micro-needling produces superior results over micro-needling alone.

Adding collagen to a micro-needling procedure helps to enhance the skin's natural collagen production by stimulating the fibroblasts to create more collagen and elastin fibers. The micro-needling itself creates controlled micro-injuries, activating its natural healing processes to produce new collagen, leading to firmer, smoother, and more youthful-looking skin.

Hyaluronic acid when absorbed into the skin after micro-needling, can aid in adding volume and providing nourishing hyaluronic acid to the skin. When paired with micro-needling, the repair process begins almost immediately resulting in softened wrinkles and scars, as well as a thicker dermis.

LED Light Therapy by Celluma - The Science of LED Light Therapy

What is LED Light Therapy?
Light emitting diode (LED) therapy, also known as photobiomodulation or low-level light therapy (LLLT), is the application of specific wavelengths of light energy to tissue to achieve therapeutic benefits. This non-invasive treatment is effective for addressing various conditions, including acne, aging skin, pain, hair restoration, excess fat, and more. The absorbed light energy enhances cellular performance, promoting self-repair and rejuvenation—just as nature intended.

Phototherapy, particularly LED red light therapy, is well-researched and supported by thousands of peer-reviewed clinical studies from prestigious institutions worldwide. This clinically validated technique is increasingly recognized by dermatologists, cosmetic and general surgeons, and pain management professionals globally, gaining widespread acceptance in mainstream medicine.

It All Took Off In Space: Originally developed by NASA to grow plants and help astronauts prevent cellular decline, their groundbreaking studies brought LLLT into the forefront.

Proven Wavelengths: Like photosynthesis in plants, red and infrared (IR) low-level light therapy uses specific, proven wavelengths to modulate biological effects.
